Shosanshiki (First Visitation Ceremony)

Shosanshiki or the First Visitation Ceremony to the Sangha has traditionally been for newborns, but now any child will be recognized. This ceremony is their formal welcome to the congregation and their path to the truth of Amida Buddha. Any young person who wishes to be presented will be included.
