Our church is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented individual to serve as a Part-Time Custodian. This important role helps maintain a clean, welcoming, and respectful space for worship and community gatherings.
Responsibilities:
- Clean and maintain floors, washrooms, kitchen and offices
- Dust all areas of the church
- Vacuum carpets and rugs throughout the building
- Clean interior windows
- Tidy up after church events and activities (may be an extra day)
- Advise office of any repairs needed
Schedule:
Twice a week:
- Tuesdays to clean and take out the garbage, after 5:00 pm
- Saturdays to clean up for service on Sunday, anytime
Qualifications:
- Custodial experience is a plus, but not required
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- Respectful of the church environment and its community
